Time to order seeds for spring planting

Forest County 4-H club seed sale is now through March 9th

With spring six weeks away, now is the time to plan your 2018 gardening activities. If you are thinking about planting vegetables in your garden this spring, the Forest County Klippity Klop 4-H Club may have just the right seeds for you at the right price.

4H youth members will be selling 25 varieties of premium, easy-to-grow vegetable and flower seeds at just $2.00 per packet. Proceeds from the seed sale will be used to buy materials to support Forest County 4H initiatives.

The seed packets are purchased from Fedco, a cooperative seed business based in Maine, that provides seeds especially adapted to our cold weather climate.

Order forms are available at the Crandon Public Library, from local 4H members or you may download the forms below.

The 4-H Youth Development Program is part of Forest County’s Cooperative Extension Service. 4-H offers educational programs to all youth, kindergarten through 12thgrade, on an age-appropriate basis, without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation or disability.
